My firm Magdalena Bogart Interiors invited Sandra Rasmussen to give us (my assistant, a colleague of mine and myself) a disc personality training course.
We are in the business of interior design. Good and clear communication among each other and to clients is of the essence for a great project flow and outcome.
My goal was, to make my communication style with clients more effective. This needs to start of course with learning about oneself plus the different personalities we meet in our clients on a daily basis.
The course included a personality test for each of one, which we shared among each other. The visual charts and interpretations very beneficial to understand ourselves and each other much better.
DISC groups personality styles in an easy to understand way. It has been a tool for myself since then to quickly assess clients: How do they communicate with me? How do they want to be communicated to?
Recently I closed on two projects. Independently both clients told me, that they gave me the project, because I was able to clearly communicate with them verbally and in writing.
